Description: Sketching and Painting program
Mediums Used: Oil pastels, pencil colors, water colors
Days and Time : 3 classes a week, Monday – Wednesday- Friday Mornings, 11am IST
Duration : 6 weeks
Course : Nature, Animals, Birds, Still Life

Approach:
1. Basic Sketch using perspectives, eye level and ratios
2. Introducing basic CFL methods and skull reading
3. Learn 5 elements of design to try out different styles and effects
4. Learn colour value
5. Hatching and cross hatching technique/ Tonal sketching and blending
6. Use your eraser to define form, smudge techniques and final finishing
7. Concept of light and casting shadow and color palette mixing
8. Final finishing including edges, merging of colors, and outlining

1. A4 or A3 Cartridge sheet drawing file, GSM 145
2. Pencils, eraser, sharpener, scale 12″
3. Oil pastels 50 shades
4. Soft pastels, 20 shades
5. Pencil colours, preferred quality Staedtler
6. Sponge, ear- buds, cotton
7. Shading pencils 2b 4b 6b 8b 10b
8. Water-based colors, 12 shades
9. Paint Brushes (flat and round), basic set
