1. Learn 5 elements of shading to try out different styles and effects
2. Using various gradients or values to make the artwork eye-catching and pleasant
3. Different strokes of pencils, thick and thin lines
4. Sketching complicated objects using simple shapes
5. Sketching on colored paper, sketching with ink pen to add dynamism
6. Sketching techniques using perspectives, eye levels
7. Hatching, Tonal sketching, blending & accent lines to give more definition to the sketch
8. Introduction to color theory – how to blend colors, how to use different hues and saturation
